This is a Contract Job – 1099 Role

Job Summary

ASA Life Solutions, L.L.C. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support clients on their recovery journeys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients’ substance use and mental health conditions to determine appropriate treatment needs.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients that address their specific challenges and goals.
  • Counseling Services: Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to provide support, build coping skills, and promote recovery.
  • Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and intervention for clients in crisis, ensuring their safety and appropriate care.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and therapeutic activities in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including medical staff, social workers, and community resources, to coordinate care and provide comprehensive support.
  • Education and Advocacy: Educate clients and their families about addiction, coping strategies, and the recovery process while advocating for resources and support services.
  • Continuing Education: Stay current with best practices in addiction counseling and pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance professional skills.

Qualifications

  • Education: A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid, active IN state license as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC) or equivalent licensure (e.g., LCSW, LPC) with specific training in addiction counseling.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in addiction counseling or related mental health setting. Experience with co-occurring disorders is preferred.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of various therapeutic modalities, treatment planning, and evidence-based practices for addiction treatment.
  • Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassion and Empathy: A genuine passion for helping individuals achieve recovery and improve their quality of life.

Working Conditions

  • The position may require occasional evening or weekend hours to accommodate client needs.
  • May involve direct client interactions in a variety of settings, including individual offices and group therapy rooms.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
